Philip Odesláno 13. prosinec 2021 Odesláno 13. prosinec 2021 Hi. I would like to ask if I could charge my car battery via cigarette lighter (Peugeot 508 2015). Since I drive my car only once in a month and freezing temperatures are approaching, I am little bit concerned. Lights in my car are already flickering when starting engine on. Is this type even possible and safe way to charge? Thank you for answering. Citovat

Brian Edward Odesláno 23. říjen 2023 Odesláno 23. říjen 2023 Yes, you can charge a car battery through the cigarette lighter socket. However, ensure the lighter socket is “live”, keep the charge rate low to avoid blowing a fuse, and use a suitable charger adapter. Charge for about six hours. Note that this method is not usually recommended due to the thin wiring and limited power of these outlets. Citovat
